Sargent Major Damsel

This damsel is friendlier than most. They are found throughout the Atlantic and the Caribbean and have even been caught in the Gulf of Mexico. They tend to lose their color as they mature. It is quite easy to keep in captivity, readily taking to prepared foods and thriving in the right conditions. These fish are cheap and easy to get. They tolerate other damsels and clowns better than most damsels. It is an omnivorous fish. Seaweed, spirulina, flake foods and finely chopped pieces of crab meat, fish, squid, shrimp, fish, homemade porridge, etc. should be provided. Small amounts of food should be given, but several times a day.
